Walkthrough & Color Consult
We look at the cabinet material and hardware on-site and go over color and sheen options during the free estimate.
Removal & Labeling
Doors, drawer fronts, and hardware come off and get numbered so every piece goes back exactly where it started.
Degrease, Sand & Fill
Years of kitchen grease get stripped, surfaces are scuff-sanded for adhesion, and dents or gouges are filled and leveled.
Bonding Primer
A primer built to grip laminate, thermofoil, or wood goes on first, so the topcoat doesn’t chip at the edges later.
Sprayed Topcoat
Doors and drawers are sprayed in a controlled area for a smooth, even coat; boxes and frames are hand-finished in place.
Cure & Reinstall
Once the finish is dry to the touch, hardware and doors go back on and we walk the kitchen with you before we call it done.
Application Method
Spray vs. Brush: We Use Both, on Purpose
Most cabinet jobs need a mix of both methods. Using only one or the other is where DIY repaints and rushed jobs usually go wrong.
Spray Application
Doors and drawer fronts come off the cabinet and get sprayed flat in a dust-controlled area. This is what gives the finish that hard, glass-smooth look with no visible brush strokes, and it lets us build even coats on panel edges and profiles that a brush tends to miss.
Brush & Roll Application
Cabinet boxes and face frames stay bolted to the wall, so those get finished by hand with a fine-finish brush and mini roller. Done with the same enamel and technique used on the sprayed doors, the sheen matches once everything is back together.
Durability & Care
We use a waterborne cabinet enamel formulated to cure to a hard, washable film, not a wall paint pushed into cabinet duty. It’s built to take daily contact with grease, water, and cleaning without yellowing or going soft.
It’s dry to the touch within hours, but keeps hardening for about a week. We ask homeowners to go easy on the cabinets, no hard scrubbing or hung wet towels, during that window.
Low-VOC formulas are available on request, and we can match satin, semi-gloss, or full gloss depending on how much daily wear the kitchen sees.
